I have been reached out to by several news publications for my point of view about Newberg City Councilor Elise Hollamon’s attempt to have me arrested for reporting on her in a public place and her new allegations against me of organizing harassment against her. This is my reaction to The Oregonian newspaper article about the matter and in this video I provide additional commentary and context.

I thought the Oregonian article that Carey is responding to was better than most Oregonian articles. Carey has given a very good evidence based discussion of the complaint Elise Hollamon filed with police regarding Martells public recording of Hollamons public comments, the attempted arrest, and the DA not filing charges. Martell also completely rejects and disavows violence or harassment of anyone. I do believe Hollamon is getting some crank calls and threats from out-of-town internet losers and it is upsetting. Carey is not responsible for the actions of nuts with antisocial personality disorders. If Hollamon stopped talking about it to the media and anyone else who will listen, the hoopla would die out like all media cycles. The police are investigating. She has support from all the Newberg City Council members. Move on. Get back to business. That is what Dave Brown and Brian Shannon did when they were being stalked and harassed by members of Newberg Equity in Education.
So, those that truly harrass,(Newberg Equity), can dish it but can’t take it! Did Adolf, Mao Zedung Pol Pt etc.not do the same?
